Why is it that when someone asks you to do something you normally do every day without any problems, it suddenly becomes a problem just because someone's asked you to and now It Has To Be Done?

I finally had my sample in the tiny tube (not something I hope to be doing again any time soon). Tye and I took it to the surgery while making every single shit-joke we could possibly think of.

The lady at the reception was very friendly, maybe a bit too much, because.. .I have to be honest, I've never heard anyone say 'Thank you so very much,' when taking shit like that.
